Hi, I`m new to this site. My husband and I are in the process of adopting our 19 month old foster child. Although parental rights were terminated we are opting for an open adoption since the birth mom and other relatives live near by. We want to do everything we can to insure our daughters happiness in this situation and need all the help we can get. I`ve already found that there are some strong feelings here on the subject of open adoption, but also alot of much needed information. We appreciate your patience with us so far.
