i AM ADOPTED AND SEARCHING BUT MY QUESTION REFERS TO MY ADOPTED SISTER. WE WERE ADOPTED , NOT RELATED , SHE PASSED AWAY AT A YOUNG AGE. I HAVE WONDERED IF ANYONE OUT THERE IS LOOKING FOR HER. WHEN SHE PASSED AWAY, WOULD MY ADOPTED PARENTS HAVE HAD TO TELL ANYONE IN CHILDREN'S AID (CANADA)? i'M WORRIED TAHT IF SOMEONE IS SEARCHING FOR HER, THERE IS NO WAY THEY WOULD KNOW.
AM I ALLOWED TO TO ANYTHING IN THIS SITUATION?

The answer to your question? Your adopted parents don't have to tell. They can tell them when C.A.S. searchs out your sister.
I'm adopted and searching for two birthsisters that also are adopted. I would like to know either way (alive or dead). I would just keep my eyes open and if you see any information that relates to her, just respond to it. Just do what your heart tells you to do.

Hi SandiLynn
I was just wondering if your birthday is 06/18/71 Toronto ON. I have to check for any leads, sorry to bother you. I am very sorry about your sister, that is always a big fear, not knowing if my daughter is alive or not is a daily nightmare. Her name use to be April Lynn. Thank you
