Hi, My name is Jennifer and I am currently employed as an adoptions caseworker and was wondering if anyone knows what is needed write homestudies on a part-time basis. Would this be a conflict of interest? I have my Adoption Assessor certification.

When I worked for DSS adoptions, several of my co-workers performed home studies for attorneys on the side. I currently have a contract with the state and prepare studies for attorneys. I don't think it would be a conflict as long as the study doesn't interfere with a particular case you are working on.
