homestudy issue- need professional opinion

Hi, I would like to know what ya'll think about this situation: We have been contracted with an agency since October of 2001. We are in the domestic waiting pool. Our homestudy was updated in December of 2002. Our agency will not give us a copy of our homestudy. Also, we have been matched with a birthmom in another state and that agency needs our updated homestudy. Our homestudy (paperwork part) is not complete! I am furious. We have paid our money and they have had since December to update the homestudy. (which there is not much to update). In January when we were matched they were asked to send the updated homestudy. As of yesterday the update has not been finished!! Well, yesterday after a long conversation they say they will try to have it completed and sent by the end of the week. This is a reputable agency that my brother used several years ago to adopt two newborns. I just don't get what the problem is. Any suggestions on how to handle would be appreciated.
