Possible military baby girl born Columbus GA/Ft Benning

I am looking for any information regarding my birth family. It is possible that my birth father was in the military at Ft Benning. According to my birth cirtificate I was born at the Medical Center in Columbus Ga on December 28, 1970. According to word of mouth I was below weight and had to remain in the hospital until I gained enough up to 5 lbs. I am not sure of the amount of time I had to stay. Apparently my mother was a single mother and I have no information on her nor was there any information on my bio. father. It is possible that she was only staying with family in Columbus while she was pregnant. According to my mother she heard about me being placed up for adoption by her gynecologist. I'm not sure if an agency was involved or not. Any information would be appreciated on any family member.
