hello all,
i am a student at Florida International Universityand a social work major. I am doing a project on adoption and was assigned a puerto rican baby boy. I was wondering does anyone know first hand about adoption in puerto rico. I have some questions i would really appreciate if anyone could answer.
1. where are the children that are to be fostered most likely to be from?
2. does it matter if you are married or not?
3. which sex is most likely to be adopted?
4. does race have a factor in adoption? with either the parent or child?
5. how are parents from other countries who wish to adopt treated?
6. what are the differences between state adoption agencies private adoption agencies.
thank you so very much
