I live in southeastern PA and am looking for an agency to do my homestudy. Within the next few years, its likely that we will adopt both domestically and internationally.
Does anyone have a recommendation for an organization to do my homestudies?
Also, is it easier to update a dom. h/s into an internat. h/s or vice versa?

We also used Child & Home Study. We had a great experience with them first in 1996 with our Son's adoption and again in 2000 with our daughter's adoption. Very professional.

Can you tell me more about this agency? It's very close to where I live. What were the fees? What happened at the Home Study Visit? Were they ontime with paperwork?

My husband and I are working with SWAN ( statewide adoption network )They were very helpful. They sent us a list of agencies that serve the county where we live. Now we just have to pick one, and go from there. Good luck in your future!!

Received our materials from SWAN, picked our agency ( Rejoice! Inc- Harrisburg), and had our orientation yesterday. Quick moving!!!!!!
Next step is our training third weekend of THIS month! Wow! I didnt expect things to move this quickly. Next is the home study. After that our family profile is sent to SWAN, and the matching process begins!
