Bowie from European Union

Bowie was born in February 2020 and has spent almost his entire life in institutional care. He has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy, epilepsy (grand mal seizures), and congenital laryngeal stridor addressed via tracheostomy. Genetic testing revealed a mutation that would be indicative of a neurodegenerative disease, but additional diagnostics are required to confirm details. Bowie appears to be completely immobile and shows almost no reactions to his environment. Caretakers move his body into different positions and address his basic needs. Bowie is fed via naso-gastric tube due to the absence of swallowing and gag reflexes. Bowie is in extremely fragile condition and waits for a family who can meet his life-long and significant medical and developmental needs.
