Enoli from European Union

Enoli was born in April 2017 and has been in state care all of his life, experiencing multiple placements in various institutions and a foster home. He is physically healthy aside from congenital brain cysts but has been diagnosed with autism. His development is globally delayed. Motorically restless, Enoli walks independently although he can appear clumsy. His fine motor skills are limited, and he uses his hands and arms mostly to carry out stereotypical movements. He is not potty-trained and requires adult assistance with feeding and personal hygiene. Enoli has a good appetite but eats only mashed foods. He sleeps well. While aware of his environment and comfortable in group settings, Enoli does not initiate interactions with others. He is currently nonverbal and does not carry out instructions. He struggles with changes in his routine. Enoli accepts affection from others and is generally happy during play time.
