Meet Bethany, a kind and caring young girl who loves reading the Bible, listening to Christian music and practicing her faith. Bethany has so many interests and hobbies! She considers herself a “Foodie” and loves to think up new recipes on her own. Some of her inspiration comes from watching her favorite shows like “Chopped” and “Kids Baking Championship.” Her current favorite foods include chicken or shrimp alfredo, nachos, sushi and ice cream sundaes. She also knows how to bake an amazing batch of oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and hopes to someday become an incredibly talented chef! Bethany is always inquisitive and loves to learn new things, particularly about her favorite school subjects of science, social studies and history. Being creative is another outlet for this outgoing girl and she expresses that through playing the piano, singing and making art out of things she finds in nature. Bethany LOVES horseback riding and all animals, she tells us that they help her stay calm and centered. Spending time participating in activities like gymnastics, swimming, basketball, soccer and tennis help her to thrive as well. Bethany is hoping that her Forever Family loves to play card and board games together and to chase adventure by exploring new things and traveling. Her bucket list includes one day traveling to Paris, but until that can happen, she’d be happy with a trip to Florida to go to Sea World and play in the sand on a beach. Bethany’s Permanency Team describes a great fit for her as either a single Mom or a two-parent family where she might be the only child in the home, however they are also open to hearing from families with other children. Her team is open to the possibility of an out of state family as well, in an effort to find the best possible match for her. Bethany needs a committed, trauma informed caregiver who is fun, active and outgoing, while also providing structure and clear expectations for her. Life is sure to be an amazing adventure with this resilient girl as a part of your family!
