Jordan

from Idaho

We’re excited to introduce you to Jordan, a super fun teen with a lot of energy! Not one for sitting around doing nothing, Jordan has so many interests that you’re sure to find something in common with him. Are you a sports fan? So is Jordan, with a particular passion for playing basketball and for watching his favorite Chicago Bulls play! Jordan loves to spend time doing other active things like skateboarding, jumping on the trampoline, going out to parks or the aquarium and traveling. A trip to Paris one day to see all of the breathtaking sites and eat spectacular food is definitely on his bucket list! Aside from being active, Jordan has many other hobbies and interests that may make him a wonderful addition to your family, some of which include singing and listening to music, playing video games and diving into anything hands-on Science related. With a keen sense of style, he also prides himself on looking great and enjoys shopping for trendy new clothes and shoes. Do you have pets? If so, that’s great because Jordan is a huge animal lover and has big plans to become a veterinarian someday! Jordan deeply values relationships, and as someone who knows what it’s like to go through his own struggles, always tries to be a great friend and a good listener when those around him are having a tough time. Though trusting others can be a challenge for kids who’ve come from hard places, he remains hopeful about his future and can’t wait to have a Forever Family to call his own! Aside from finally being able to put down roots in one place, Jordan’s looking forward most of all to the simple things about having a family that most people take for granted, like help with homework and dinners together. This deserving teen longs for what it will feel like to look out into the crowd when he’s on stage at a Choir concert and see the faces of people who love him smiling back at him and cheering him on. Jordan is Transgender and needs a family who can fully support who he is and who will strengthen him and be his safe place to land when others in the world may make him feel like he doesn’t belong. Jordan’s Permanency Team describes the best fit for him as a trauma informed, two parent household with a Mom and a Dad or a two Dad home. Having a home with only 1 or 2 other children, or a setting where he might be an only child, would be ideal. Jordan needs active parents who are stable and secure in their own relationship with each other. Empty nesters with parenting experience and a heart for teens could be a great match for him! Jordan’s Team is open to hearing from Idaho families as well as out of state families, in an effort to find just the right family for him. With the love, guidance, support and stability of a committed family, Jordan has what it takes to make an amazing life for himself and a real difference in the world. If getting to know just a bit about this resilient teen has made you want to learn even more, we encourage you to inquire about Jordan today!
