Allow us to introduce you to Scarlett! This young teen has a lot of aspirations for her future. Scarlett is beginning to see the importance of learning new skills and finding different hobbies that she loves. She currently enjoys drawing, pottery, and painting. She would like to expand her artistic abilities and learn how to sew as well! Maybe one day she will be able to make some of her own costumes for Halloween, her favorite holiday. Scarlett loves any opportunity for Cosplay and dreams of visiting Japan someday to attend their large Cosplay conventions. Like most young teens, Scarlett is figuring out who she is in this world. She connects really well with adults and is excited to have loving Adoptive Parents that are accepting of her and see her as the amazing person that she is.
When asked what she likes to do for fun, Scarlett shares that she most enjoys spending time with her friends, watching movies with them and just talking through life together. Scarlett is proud of her sense of humor and being the giver of lots of laughs to her friend group. When not hanging out with friends, Scarlett likes to practice her Spanish. Her Spanish Language class is her favorite class in school right now, because she thinks it would be awesome to be Bilingual. Add that to the many goals Scarlett has for herself!
Scarlett’s biggest goal and wish is to have a safe and loving home. Her permanency team is hoping to find an Adoptive Family with no other kids and preferably with a Mom and a Dad, though they are open to any parental makeup. Scarlett would do really well in a home with a stay-at-home parent that is ready to help redirect Scarlett onto the path that will help her achieve her lifelong goals.
