Avery from Texas
Avery is a boy who is full of energy. He is constantly on the move, running, jumping, and climbing. He is sweet and loves to show affection. Avery craves attention and enjoys being helpful. He likes showing affection by sitting in your lap, touching your face, or having you touch his face. Avery will sniff strangers in attempt to get familiar with them. Avery has grown up as an only child and prefers to be alone, but can interact well with other children. Avery loves to eat! He is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and faces several challenges. Avery requires patience and frequent prompts to stay on task. He is non-verbal but he can lead his caregivers to something that he wants. Avery needs close supervision to ensure his safety as he sometimes fails to perceive potential harmful or dangerous situations. Visit me at the The Heart Gallery of Central Texas.
