Jasmine is a very bright, creative, and sensitive teen. She spends most of her free time reading, listening to music, drawing, and painting. She takes pride in doing well academically. Jasmine likes to learn about animals and plants. She describes her vocational aspirations as becoming a veterinarian or a psychologist. Jasmine can be quiet at times but is very outgoing and funny once you get to know her. She loves to make others laugh. Jasmine likes to cook and play board games and hopes her forever family does as well. She also enjoys being part of the church youth group. In the past, she really enjoyed being in choir class and leadership class. Jasmine describes herself as "a choir child." She indicates that singing is important to her, and she does so often.
Jasmine would benefit from a patient and kind family. Jasmine reported she wants to be placed with loving people who understand that she is still getting used to feeling cared about. She would love a family who will give her some choices but not too many. Jasmine gets along with other children but would prefer to be an only child. Jasmine would like to be placed in the home with a mix of participation in activities and staying home.
