Na'leiah from Texas

Na'leiah is an outgoing child. The people she is close to call her Nay Nay. She does well in school and is excited to be going into middle school so she can participate in sports competitively. She looks forward to volleyball, running, and basketball and may try out for cheer. She is athletic and enjoys being outside and playing. She also enjoys having her hair and nails done. She typically enjoys her hair in box braids or goddess braids. She has recently become interested in learning how to do her own nails. Na'leiah is comfortable opening up to them and sharing issues with people she trusts. Na'leiah values her relationships with friends and family. Na'leiah enjoys attending church and likes the more relaxed Wednesday night church services. Na'leiah is into arts and crafts. She likes making bracelets. She enjoys drawing and coloring. She likes to be comfortable when it comes to clothing. She loves oversized T-shirts and jeans or athletic shorts. Na'leiah is a picky eater, mainly because she wants to eat out. Her favorite place is Wingstop.

Na'leiah and Carmello are one year apart in age. They are extremely close, and they have always been a pair. They do not want to be away from one another. They have become protective of one another. They both enjoy sports and are each other's biggest fans. Carmello enjoys video games, but Na'leiah is not as into them. They do well when given responsibilities. Both children like building Legos together and doing puzzles. They are used to doing everything together and always having one another to lean on. They both enjoy swimming and being outside. Mello enjoys seeing the latest movies in theatres but doesn't care to sit and watch a movie at home. Na'leiah likes to eat out whenever she can. Her favorite place is Wingstop. Carmello loves Chick-fil-A.

Na'leiah needs a family that can be patient and understanding. Her family would need to be prepared for a child who wants to participate in as many things as possible with school extracurriculars. Also, maintaining contact with her siblings and grandparents is imperative. Na'leiah has expressed wanting to be in a home with her brother Carmello, the only other child in the home. Na'leiah has three brothers, but she is closest with her brother Carmello, who is one year younger than her. Na'leiah is also extremely close with her maternal grandmother and great-grandmother.
