Noah is a sweet boy who is a joy to be around. He loves to draw, write, and read. Noah prefers to play alone to focus on his own games and tasks, but he does enjoy being part of the group and will play near everyone else. He is working on coming out of his shell and welcoming play with other children. Noah loves to give hugs and kisses once he warms up. He can be particular about foods but loves to eat chicken strips, french fries, and fruit snacks. Noah is diagnosed with Autism. He is making progress in his social skills and daily living skills. He can speak up and express his wants and needs and he is continuing to develop his conversational skills. He is an easygoing boy who is happy if he has his favorite activities and a calm environment. Noah will be a great addition to a loving and caring forever family.
Noah would thrive best in a two-parent household with few to no other children. His forever family will be attentive, loving, and patient and provide him with a calm and relaxed home environment. Noah would benefit from having a loving and attentive female figure in his life, as he tends to attach to mother figures. A calm and supportive father figure would also be beneficial for Noah. A family with experience with mild to moderate special needs, especially autism spectrum disorder, is preferred, as they will be better equipped to understand and meet Noah's needs. Noah prefers to stick to routines, so a family with a predictable routine would be a good fit. A family who is artistic or can nurture Noah's gifts in art and writing would be a good fit, as well as a family who is understanding of Noah's needs and who is dedicated to his care and wellbeing.
