Giving birth should be your greatest achievement not your greatest fear. --Jane Weideman

What happens to you?

You might have trouble sleeping at night. There are several physical reasons that make sleeping more difficult. Between the hormones and the baby pressing on your bladder, you may need to get up to go to the bathroom several times during the night. Also, many women have a constant backache, which makes relaxing difficult as well.

What happens to the baby?

The baby weighs about 4 pounds 12 ounces (2.15 kilograms) right now. And is putting on an average of a half pound a week at this point. The baby now measures length 18 inches from head to toe. All organ systems have been present for a long time, but are finalizing their development before birth.
