Adoptee's are treated so different!!

I lost my B.C. and ordered a new one from the state (FL). When I got it I almost cried. They sent the "short form". Which only has basic info. No time of birth or weight. I found out that we have to order the "long form" which cost more! WHY????? How come we have to pay extra to find out what time we were born or how much we weighed? But yet we are expected to grow up and feel normal, just like everyone else. I don't see how knowing this kind of info would alter the out come of our search.
