Coming your way

We actually live in Kansas, however we are connected with a birthmother in Tampa and she is having the baby mid July, so we are coming your way. My DH and I and our 2 year old daughter. The baby will be born at University Community Hospital. Does anyone have any travel recommendations. We are planning on coming before the delivery to spend sometime with the birth family and staying for about a total of 10-12 days. We would love some place to stay where we could do some of our own cooking or even some suggestion of where a family of picky vegetarians could get some good meals. We would of course like somewhere close to the hospital and family friendly where there might be a poll or something to help entertain our daughter. Any advice is welcome we have never visted Florida.
