Brother born july 2 or 12, 1972

I recently found out that I have a brother DOB july 2 or 12, 1972. He was born in Montreal at Catherine Booth and adopted through Ville Marie Social Services. The birth mom's name was D. Murdock and she was from Newfoundland. The birth father was J.Smeaton also from Newfoundland. I am unsure as to whether my father's name was on the birth certificate as he and the mother were no longer together at the time of the birth. The birth mother also does not want anything to do with finding him. If this sounds similar to your situation please message me or post a reply here.
