I recently completed my MSW (Masters of Social Work) and was looking for opportunities in adoption work (counseling, etc.) There are agencies that do the work that you are looking for. The county/state departments of familis/children also do this sort or work. I unfirtunately had to turn down work, becasue of the low pay (I knew i would be poor as a social worker, but not that poor). I have volunteered on several occasions to speark to groups about my experiences as an adopteee (I spoke to parents adopting asian children). Anyway just keep looking, the positions and opportunities are out there.
