MY HUSBAND AND I WANT TO ADOPT MY FRIEND'S GRANDCHILD. HE HAS ADOPTED THE CHILD, BUT NOW WANTS TO GIVE HIM UP TO US TO ADOPT. WE LIVE IN FLORIDA AND HAVE NO IDEA OF WHAT ARE THE PROCEDURES TO DO THIS. DO WE NEED A LAWYER, HOW LONG IS THE PROCESS? WHAT IS THE PROCESS LIKE? IF ANYONE CAN GIVE ME SOME INFORMATION- WHATEVER IF MAY BE IT WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. WE ARE DESPERATE BECAUSE WE WANT TO DO THIS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START. THANK YOU.
