I have just started this process & not really sure how or what will come of this. I know that I was born at Methodist Hospital of Dallas in Oak Cliff on March 18, 1970. I also know that it was a private adoption & a Dr. Dykes (spelling?) delivered me. I had a WONDERFUL childhood and my adoptive parents are the best....in fact, they are my parents! I have known since as early as I can remember that I was adpoted. I am just curious to know any medical history, if I have any siblings...because I was raised as an only child, is there someone out there that looks like me, and most important....to thank my birth mother for making probably the hardest decesion she ever had to make. I am not looking to disrupt anyones lives....the older I get, the more curious I am.

:confused: Do you have any info on your bio parents? If so you need to post it. Any thing some times can be helpful to some that may look on the forums.;) Does your adopted parents know you are searching for bioparents? They should have some thing in writing I would think.(documents) Also you can ask for information from the Search Guru that post on here all the time she is very helpful too.:D Good luck with your search, Linda:o

Thank you for your helpful advice. Unfortunately, I have no information on my bioparents....other than it was not a teenager or a rape. My adopted parents say they know nothing & no, they do not know that I am searching. What did you mean by Search Guru? Debbie :o)

Hi The search guru is a women who I think is on the board here. If you just start reading the postings you will she SEARCH GURU on alot of the postings. Click on her name and ask where to send foe non id and she will e-mail you back. She's pretty fast too. Good Luck, Linda;)

did your adoptive parents say how they came to adopt you? did they go through an agency? find out about you from somewhere or someone else? no info on birth certificate such as age of birth mother?
