I was told that if you were adopted in Az that there had to be a legal posting in the Arizona Business Gazette. If I know the date why not just search the paper during a one month span, and see all the people that adopted ..Is this true // If so i am off to Az.
I grew up an adoptee in AZ and never heard of that, but I suppose it could be true.
However, the AZ confidential intermediary program worked extremely well for me (my adoption was finalized in AZ). If you were adopted in AZ, look into it:

After contacting a CI, it took 3 weeks to find my mom. All members of the triad can use it.
Hope it helps.

This is a notice to let a birthfather step forward and have paternity rights if desired. It is in the legal section of the paper and I believe he has 6 months to come forth or his rights are gone. I think they only publish the mans name which might not be correct . The birth mom might give a few or false names. Good luck.
Back in theose days there were either the Arizona Republic or the Phoenix Gazette. The Republic is the larger of the two as it is a statewide paper. I'd suggest looking there first. Since I'm not aware of the legal attributes of putting an ad in for adoptions, as there are for land bought and sold, marriges and deaths. Good luck and keep me informed as I'm searching for siblings myself. Billy:cool:
YES! It is true that it has to be in there but it can also be posted in another one too...(sorry will have to get back to you with the name.) I have had uncanny luck finding things out in Arizona so if you have some info let me try to help. I don't charge of course and there are no promises but I have a knack and way of doing it that I can't exactly explain so please if you are touched by adoption and the child is of legal age at this point whether you are the child or not....let me try to help..it eases my mind to help others in similar situations. God Bless!
Baby boy dod July 05-1974 somewhere withen an hrs drive of Casa Grande Az. Was told in those days that the paper was called the Az business weekly, and they are on micro film at the state library somewhere, and that they had to be posted withen 30 days.. Names may be changed, but was told that they ask for parents vocation, and both were teachers, they may not have thought to change that part of the paper work.. thanks

Please e-mail me at l-sheaclark@epl.org if you think you can help with our search. Three siblings (I'm a half-sister) have found each other, but there is one more. Parents were Florence Taylor and Robert Irons.
Thanks!!

The librarian at the archives will research your inquiry for free for 30 minutes. If you can nail down an approx date of the legal notice, they can find it! I have one working on finding the legal notice for my adoption right now! Give them a call at 602-542-4159
There is a website that anyone can use for free!
It is called searchsystems.net and if you open your mind to finding anything and close no doors... you will be able to find something eventually on this site.
Good luck to all of you... PS My son turns 18 in less than a month... I am nervous and excited and scared and hopeful... pray for our reunion! God Bless!
I am looking for my birth grand daughter and my hands are tied in trying to use an intermediary. She was born 5/5/1988 and is now 21. If you are still around can you give some directions? She was born at Chandler Regional Hospital in Chandler, Az.
Thanks K
