Hi all,
I'm trying to learn a bit more about adopting from Brazil, but I'm having trouble finding much information on the conditions in the orphanages, health and developmental levels of the children available (and likely to be referred), that sort of thing. (My husband and I would be looking for boy or girl under 1.5 years.) Would anybody be able to give some information about this, or perhaps direct me to a good source?
Thanks for your help,
Chris
I know that LIMIAR can help you adopt from Brazil and
the lady that runs the program is ver informative.
Their webpage is http://www.limiar.org
There is also a yahoo group for parents wanting
to adopt from Brazil. Go to http://groups.yahoo.com
and search for Brazil adoption (the group is called
something like Brazil adoption support group
I have some links for Brazil on my webpage (sorry
for the plug) but I can't remember all the info I have
there. You can see the info at http://www.myadoptionlinks.com and scroll down about 1/2 way.
Good luck!
Mary
