Best web site for listening to music?

Does anyone know of the best places to listen to music online? The whole song that is, not just a 30 second preview (??)

I know there are lots on online radio stations....

But for like single songs...I dont know of any free sites...most sites you have to pay per download...

It's free and they don't play a lot of adds. You get to rate the genres of music, artists etc... the higher you rate things, the more often they are played. You can't select to hear specific songs, but you can tell it to never play certain songs/types/artists again.

Hard to believe there aren't any sites where you can just pick songs to listen to :eek:

My husband had told me about a month ago that he heard of a site that still allows 'free' downloads. Not sure if it still exists, but I think it was from overseas. I'll ask him tonight if he can remember the name of it. If he does remember, I'll post it here.

BTW ~ I did ask my husband about that site he had told me about a while ago where you could still download music for free . . . but he said he didn't think it existed anymore.
