If we were meeting in-person today, Amanda would probably ask if she could give you a hug...she loves hugs. Or, she’d be handing you a jar of honey from her bees or flowers from her garden. We would also be an hour early to wherever we were meeting, because Amanda does not like to be late and wants as much quality time together as possible.
Drew would be smiling from ear to ear, because he’s almost always smiling. He probably picked somewhere fun for us to go together (with great food, and most likely some live music). You could almost guarantee that he couldn’t sleep last night from excitement...just like he never sleeps the night before Christmas or before leaving for a trip!

While we’ve dreamed of the day we finally have a child in our arms, we’ve probably equally thought about meeting you. We’re so eager to hear your story, understand what brought you to adoption, learn your desires for our child, and grow our relationship with you and our child together.
We truly believe there can never be too many people who love a child, and we believe it’s so important for them to know the brave person who brought them into this world and to us.
When we decided to pursue adoption to grow our family, we both felt an overwhelming sense of peace (after many seasons of sadness, confusion, and uncertainty). We don’t know what you’re feeling right now, but hope that when you meet that new family for both you & your baby, that you also feel that same peace.
We pray our story and adventures make you smile, make you laugh, and make you feel not-so-alone in this crazy thing called life. You are a Rockstar.
