i was born in the methodist home hospital and adopted out of there also. please let me know if you have any luck with your search. i keep running into dead ends. All the records from the Methodist Home Hospital are with the state of louisiana, so I haven't had much luck. Again, GOOD LUCK!!!!! Vicki
Vicki-
I have also had zero luck. I have hired a private searcher but still nothing. She told me that adoptees from the Methodist Home Hospital are the hardest to do anything for. I don't know if I should contact a lawyer or what to do next. I am not in a position to search for myself nor would I know where to start. I have registered and sent off for my non- id info (which I might add was a bunch of nothing) and now I feel like I have run into a wall. I would love to hear from others that were adopted here and see how they did it.
Thanks for your reply. I hope that both of our luck changes soon.
Are you in La? or out of state?

I moved to Texas after I married. My adopted father and brother still live in Louisiana. Have you contacted the Louisiana Adoption Registry? I sent mine off Friday. Also, try Search Angels on MSN. They have been really helpful. look for me there I am dancingcocacolagirl. Do you know if either parent was in the military? You can search there if they were. also, if you know the state they were born in you can try to see if they can help you. But you need some kind of name on them.
Vicki-
I have registered with the state. I don't have anything to go on other than my parents were both 20 and in college- oh and- my mother wore glasses. Big dead end. I have found the forum at Yahoo groups- Louisiana Triad ( under adoption) helpful. They may could help you if you have a lot of info. There are people from all over the state. Try it.
