If temination consent papers are signed while still in the hospital, birth parents and adoptive parents appear in court 10 days after. After court appearance, bfamily has 15 days to change their mind. After that. consent is irrevocable except in cases of fraud or duress.
If consent is signed after the child is discharged from the hospital, court appearance is as soon as possible, then after court appearance bfamily has 15 days to change their mind. After that, consent is irrevocable except in cases of fraud or duress.
