The above site has really good recipes, any I have tried has been excellent.

is another that has nearly any recipe one could ever want.
My kids love beef burger soup, which is hamburger, cream of celery soup, grated carrots, tomato juice, onions. If you want the recipe I will look for it but I kind of just toss it all together. One of those things better the second or third day for breakfast. LOL...giving away my bad habits. Teresa
Found it:
Beef Burger Soup
3 T butter ( I usually just spray the pan with PAM)
1 lb ground beef
1/4 cup minced onion
3 cups tomato juice
2 cans Cream of Celery Soup
2 cans soup cans water or 2 cups (depends on how thick you want)
1/4 teas pepper
1/8 teas majoram (I have never used it)
1 bay leaf (if I have one)
1 teas sugar
2 cups shredded carrot
In deep kettle melt butter (or spray the pan) and ground meat. Brown meat, break into small pieces as it cooks. Add onion and brown lightly. Combine tomato juice, water, soup; stir till smooth: add to brown meat and onion. Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer covered for 15 minutes
ONE POT CURLY RONI
It's exact recipe is found on the back of the bag american rose curly pasta
Basically all in one pot, you brown ground beef then add italian spices/onions/salt/pepper to taste, then add can of stewed tomatoes and the uncooked curly roni. Boil it all together and the moisture from the tomatoes is absorbed by the uncooked pasta which just cooks in the juices. shred cheese on top in a bowl and its done
I'll have to think of more, but I have a TON I'll post later!
Thank you all very much!! You are amazing. I will copy these for my 16 year old daughter to make. She will love these.
Thanks each of you. When kids really like the recipes I am open to it. I think all of these above they will love! It looks like if there is any left after the first meal I could use some for a side dish the next day.
If you know of other recipes I am open.
Please post. My kids have such basic tastes these are perfect.
Chicken noodle soup
2 cans chicken broth (campbells)
1 package no yolks noodles (the thick ones)
celery
carrots(optional)
various seasonings, be creative (add chicken bullion if needed)
onion salt (if you don't like onions)
pepper
1 pound chicken (I use pre cooked breast strips from costco)
add water to about 1 inch above noodles in pan
take about 1/2 cup liquid out and mix corn starch to preferred thickness (blend very smooth before re-adding)
I make it really thick so it ends up being kind of like chicken noodle pasta with sauce! Takes about 15 minutes with pre-cooked chicken
Its good!

One thing I can't cook without is the "Lipton's recipe secrets" soup flavor packets....some of my favorite recipes are from the back of the packets.
When I was little, my mom would slice hot dogs down the middle lengthwise, open them flat side up, lay them on a cookie sheet and place sliced cheddar cheese on top the broil in the oven untill cheese is melted.
The only measuring cup you will need is the can the soup comes in. The only other things you will need is a large sauce pan and a hungry group or people. This is so fast and so good.
Stir together
One can cream soup, mushroom, chicken, broccoli (your choice) with one can milk
Bring to a boil, turn down to med and add
one can instant rice
one can chopped/cubed meat (chicken, ham, steak)
one can frozen vegetable (we like peas)
Stir all together until veggies are cooked, rice is soft and meat is warm.
Add seasoning to taste. We ususally just add salt and pepper
Depending on you choices you can also add grated cheese on the top when you serve it.
YUM.

A great easy cookbook I use is The Four Ingredient Cookbook it is really easy stuff.
One receipe my daughter won a "cooking" contest at a Girl Scout event is as follows:
1 cup sugar
1 cup corn syrup
1 (12 ounce) jar of crunchy peanut butter
5 cups crisp rice cereal
Melt sugar and corn syrup. Add peanut butter, cereal; mix. Form into 1 inch balls. Place on wax paper. Cool.
Easy and good!
Copeland Goolash
l lb ground beef
1 can pinto beans with gravy
1 can chopped tomatos
1 cup chopped sweet onions
brown ground beef and onions
dump in beans
dump in tomatos
Cook until beans and tomatos are hot
About 20 minutes start to finish!
I haven't had a foster kid yet who doesn't like it AND they can cook it themselves.
BEST CHICKEN & Rice
2 chicken breast, browned in olive oil and add some sage and 2 table spoons butter
1 package (large) yellow, Spanish rice - cook per package directions then add chicken.
1 pot that's it.
add extra water as it cooks, it obsorbs more than the package says. This one takes about 30 or more for the rice to cook.
yummy, also add more water if you want it to be more like soup.
This is my foster kids favorite and birth child's favorite of all meals.
Thank you all so very much.
I love getting these recipes. All I have to do is log on and scroll down. I can gather the ingredients right from my computer screen!
Please post more recipes that are quick and easy that kids like.
I just made a side dish that my kids loved. It was:
Red Potatoes with Garlic
I use the mircrowave
8 red potatoes washed and poked with a fork.
1/2 stick approx. "I can't Believe It's not Butter"
2-3 cloves per your taste Garlic minced.
Place red potatoes on microwaveable dish.
Microwave on Baked Potato setting or until softened.
Slice hot potatoes. Place in bowl with other ingredients.
Stir making sure all is evenly mixed.
My kids loved it. I add fresh rosemary for dh and I. :)
Does anyone have other recipes for sidedishes or main dishes that kids like???
Thanks.
This has been an absolute favorite. It is so easy ~ one 13 x 9 cake pan, 1 fork and 1 measuring cup = the best, most moist chocolate cake! :D
TRIPLE CHOCOLATE CAKE
1 pkg. (2 layer) chocolate cake mix (Do Not Use mix with pudding already in it)
1 pkg. (4 serving) Jello Chocolate Instant Pudding & Pie Filling
4 eggs
1 cup water
ܼ cup vegetable oil
1 cup chips (either 1 ݽ cup chocolate chips, or cup chocolate chips and ޾ cup peanut butter chips and/or cup white chocolate chips etc.
Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a 13 x 9 inch cake pan. Combine all ingredients except chips in cake pan and stir with a fork until well blended. Add chips and stir again. Bake at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes, or until cake springs back when lightly pressed.
Cool in pan for 15 minutes, then continue cooling on wire rack. When completely cool, either frost with chocolate frosting or cut into squares and sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
