looking for father's family May 1947

I am looking for anyone who can give me information on my fathers family He was adopted. His birthday was May 25th 1947 He was adopted by the Allens and lived in Fort Erie. He may have been adopted in York or St Catherines. We think his last name might have been Andrews.
