I'd like to know if anyone has come into false information in their non-identifying info? Does anyone believe Gladney has given them false info? I'm starting to wonder if I was told the wrong ages of the adoptive parents.
I'd also like to know how many people adopted from Gladney in Texas were adopted outside of the state. I don't know how far I should expand my search.
I'm not sure what you mean by "out of state," but I know that my half-sister was adopted through Galdney to Califormia. Her parents lived there, but her birthmom and my father lived here in Texas. I registered with the adoption agency and just received a letter notifying me that there was a match. As soon as I actually speak to my sister I will find out if she had any of the incorrect info considering I know most of the information regarding the adoption. As of yet, I haven't heard of anyone receiving false info from Gladney.

i was adopted through Gladney, but i was adopted in Texas, so i dont know where my birth parents are from.
My a-mother placed her twins in 1959 - the non-id is correct.
They were also placed out of state - in Mississippi. I also know another Gladney adoptee who was placed out of state in the 70's.
Both birthmothers were from the DFW area, however.
