Allyson & John

Meet Winkles, our 8-year-old Jack Russell mix. Winkles is an absolute sweetheart that loves being with his family and is a sucker for belly rubs! Winkles has a contagious smile and is extremely gentle. He loves playing fetch, lying in the sun, and showing off his tricks. Winkles is great with children and super excited to meet the newest member of the family soon! We lost one of our fur babies, Haygen, to cancer in the spring of 2024. Haygen was a part of our family for 11 amazing years and was the best “big brother” to Winkles. He has crossed over the rainbow bridge, but we know that he is still watching over our family.

John is one of the most amazing people I have ever met, which made it that much easier to fall in love with him. He is an amazing partner in life and I am extremely lucky to not only call him my husband, but my best friend. Growing up in a small town with very little to do, John loved being outdoors and was always riding his bike, fishing, or hunting. Over the last few years, his favorite hobbies have been grilling or smoking meat for family and friends, golfing, and playing Pickleball. John is intelligent, funny, sensitive, loyal and supportive. He has never met a stranger and goes above and beyond for the people he cares about. John has a genuine heart and his love is always shown through random acts of kindness, service acts or simply voicing how much he loves you. He is someone that a lot of people look up to for guidance or as a role model. Working in the finance industry, John is constantly making new connections, or helping people grow their businesses. He is highly thought of with his work ethic and his dedication to getting the task at hand accomplished. He continues to amaze me and I know that he will keep excelling in his career. John has a genuine heart and is so excited to become a dad. Kids naturally gravitate to his contagious laugh, goofiness, or his willingness to play. Several of our family members and friends have young children that absolutely love John and it has been amazing to see their relationships flourish. John has a great relationship with his parents, his younger sister, Janelle, and her husband, Ben, and his grandmother. John’s family has been incredibly supportive of our adoption journey and are so excited to see John take on his new role as Dad. John is going to be an amazing dad and I cannot wait to see him in this next chapter of life. Our future children will have him wrapped around their fingers!

From the moment I met Allyson in high school, I knew there was something incredibly special about her. Allyson is the most loving, caring, and supportive person anyone could ever meet. We started dating in our sophomore year of college, and it quickly became clear that she was the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. Her ability to understand and support me through the ups and downs of life has always been a cornerstone of our relationship! Allyson is the epitome of compassion and support. She has a unique ability to empathize with others and is always willing to lend a listening ear or a helping hand. She makes everyone around her feel valued and understood. She believes in the people she loves and goes above and beyond to ensure they know it. She has an incredible ability to make those around her feel secure and loved, no matter what challenges they might be facing. This selflessness is one of the many qualities that make her such a nurturing person, and it will undoubtedly shine through as she cares for our future children. Allyson is very driven and committed. This is evident in her career in the finance industry, where she has achieved great success through her hard work and dedication. Allyson approaches every challenge with a positive attitude and a willingness to achieve her goals. Despite the demands of her job, she always makes time for our family and ensures that we are her top priority. Finally, I must emphasize how deeply Allyson cherishes the idea of being a mother. She has an incredible amount of love to give and is so excited to share it with our children. Allyson has been the most dedicated and loving dog mom to our dogs, Haygen and Winkles. Her dedication to providing a happy, loving home is truly inspiring, and I know that she will pour her heart and soul into being the best mother she can be. They will grow up surrounded by warmth, kindness, and unwavering support, thanks to Allyson’s loving nature. Thank you for considering us as potential parents.
