Our son is 14 months old. In the last six months we have been through a very rough time with his birthmom. She tried to get him back long after the revocation period had expired. Our adoption communication included only updates and photos funneled through the agency. We will continue this to age 18. Now I would like to get things for him. Photos of her, etc. How do I ask her for this after the misery we've been through?

You said that everything goes through the agency well ask the agency to get some pictures for you. I'm sure they will be willing to do this. It will also show that you do want your child to know about the adoption and that someday you will be willing to help find his bmom with him. Maybe this will help the bmom also. good luck you are in our prayers
