My name is Meredith Pitt and I am married to Patrick Pitt who was born 5/12/70 in Memphis. We know he was released from the hospital on May 18, 1970 to a foster family and then adopted by my husband's parents on June 19, 1970. We don't know the name of the hospital. We are looking for his birth family ONLY in order to get updated family history information because we have a 21 month old daughter and I am due with a son in September. We want to be able to arm our children with as much family medical history as possible. Patrick is NOT looking for a reunion wiht his birth family. You may want to try the University of Tenn. most adoptions in Memphis occured from there. Goodluck, I have found one of my children and it is beautiful. If you can find the reason for the adoption maybe you can not only find out medical but also family.
