Hello:
I'm new to the forum and searching for the right agency to use for DH/my adoption.
So far DH/I are thinking about Family Options in Red Bank. We met the owners on Saturday at a conference that was held at Rutger's University and sat in on two of their talks. We were very impressed with them and met Lynette as well.
Someone suggested American Adoptions which is throughout the states and Adoptions from the Heart located in Cherry Hill.
If anyone has any feedback on any of the three agencies it would be greatly appreciated. Interested in knowing the pros/cons, cost, waiting time, etc.
This is all new to us and we are trying to educate ourselves as much as possible.
Thank you for your help in advance - it's greatly appreciated!
:)

Zebra-We went with FO after we went to their free seminar at their location. We, too, searched for about 2 months. There were many factors involved for us. One is age, we are both 40 and the other is biological children. Some won't work with couples that have children. I have 3 and DH has 1. FO didn't have a problem with any of our issues, so that helped up decide. Their wait is typical and unpredictable as many are. Since the ** picks you, it's just a waiting game. Keep me posted on what you decide or email me directly at mikesgirl8277@aol.com. Maybe we'll be on the same time frame and can share experiences.
Where are you located? I'm in central Jersey.

My husband and I chose Family Options and have been in portfolio since February of this year.I was given 6-8 names of agencies through a social worker I know. After going through the list,we had it it wittled down to Family Options and Golden Cradle. Not only were we impressed after speaking with FO but they are located close to where we live.If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me at FishRN1@aol.com
