Hi everyone!
If youve been up between the hours of 11 PM CST and 5 AM CST for the last three weekends trying to feed your forum addiction, then you know that IҒve been taking the forums down and working on the all night long. Its been a tremendous task, but the forums consolidation has been completed.
WeҒve merged 298 rarely used and under-utilized forums into 63 more active forums with similar topics. This means a few things: First, this is the first step in fixing some of the more broken portions of the forums, like search and whatnot. Second, this means that there will be fewer missed postswe have a lot of members who come, post a question and donŒt get a response because of the overwhelming number of forums on the site. With fewer forums, this should happen less and less.
There are some planned changes for the site so make sure you watch the Community Directors Forum for information and news on that. As I get more firm information, I will pass that on to you guys.
Other than thatօIm done҅and boy am I glad!
Let me know if you have any questions!

Pip, all I can say is that it must have been lost in the consolidation...altho I don't see how, as every forum I deleted had ZERO posts...I checked and rechecked...but I must have missed something.
The entire "Search and Reunion Stories" forum is gone...I will recreate and hopefully you guys can start posting again...I am SO sorry...
Pip,
I have created the forum now...again, I am SO sorry...I can't believe this happened...I've checked ALL of the other forums and they are in place...I don't know what happened with this one.
Here is the location of the new forum: http://forums.adoption.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2825

I sniffed a little at the loss of the Kentucky forums but now that I have had a couple days to get used to the change I really like having a consolidated forum. There is sooooo much more activity and I have learned some very interesting things that were not posted to KY but absolutely applicable. Suffice it to say that *now* I'm lovin' it! Faboo consolidation. Thanks heaps!
