I agree with the Hope for children act. However, I would also like to see a bill that provides low interest loans for paying for adoptions. Adoptions can cost as much as $25,000. When my wife and I went through this process we discovered how difficult it was to get a loan at an interest rate better than putting it on your credit card.

My DH and I are approved to adopt up to three children, and WE WOULD LOVE TO adopt all three if we could afford the fees...
I believe that if we are going to make an impact on the world, we need to begin with our children, to give them love and guidance, give them warmth and comfort, the simplicity of a loving family...

I agree whole-heartedly. We are sponsoring a child from Russia for the summer, but, there is no way we can pay the 15-17K to adopt him. So we will have him long enough to fall in love, but then he must go home.
