Dossier Translation

Jane, My understanding is that the agencies translate the dossier and then it is submitted to the DNA for approval. Julie

I'm not sure who actually does it, but it is translated after arriving in Panama. Joan

I was told that our agency hires someone to do the translation to make sure everything comes out exactly right. I offered to fill out the Panama questionnaire (since D speaks Spanish) but my caseworker said no, because they wanted to make sure everything translated not just literally but with the right connotation...and in the right "feel" and 'style' Panama likes. I was trying so hard to get out of paying translation fees!! haha Robin
