Your local library will be able to give you a form to fill out with what ever your birth name was fill it in and they should be able to give you a copy of your origional birthcertificate make sure you do NOT ask for your ammended birth certificate.You will not get the origional without it.If you find you were born in Washington D.C. on July 9,1980 at Providence hospital in D.C as baby girl Birch you may be my child.I am in search of my daughter and i have heard alot at adoption.com chat room that alot of A-Parents do change the birth dates and the place of birth and they even give out the wrong bmom's name in fear of their adoptee hating forever and they do it so the adoptee's do not find their bmom or bdad. I can only hope that you are my child because i have recently learned that there are hereditary illnesses in my family and lots of other medical info that i would like for my adopted child to know. I feel she has at least that right if anything. As a bmom i would hope that she is o.k and thatshe can find me so we can maintain some form of friendship-hopefully mother-daughter but the ball would be in her court.
