Hello there!
I am due in about three weeks and still haven't chosen a name. I am giving my baby boy up for adoption and the adoptive parents and I are trying to come up with a first name we all can agree upon. It is quite the open adoption! : )
We are having quite a time! We want something original, not crazy sounding but also something not every third boy in his class will be named. Ya know what I mean? The baby will have my last name as his middle name when the adoption is final.
We are needing help and any suggestions would be great!
Here are some that have made the LIST:
Carson
Simon
Jackson
Elijah
Lucah
Wilson
Noah
Thanks in advance!
I like Jackson too! I wanted to name a little boy Jackson and call him Jacks for short.
My favorite boys names for if we are ever blessed enough to have a boy are
Nathaniel Scott
Zachery David
I also like Tristen

Thanks for everyone's input! It is much appreciated, especially the website! It is my next visit on my list!
I love Sullivan and Solomon
Jackson is cute but is getting really popular. Simon is cute! If I were to name a boy right now my favs are
Finneas and Thaddeus (twins giggle)
Caspian
Tennyson
I am seeing carter and jackson EVERYWHERE now. But one name that is still quite original is my bro-in-laws name.... Braxton.....he named his son Carter Braxton I just think Brax is the cutest name
Here are a few others:
Stone
Quade
Rhett
Jonah
I was going to suggest Noah...and saw it had already made your list. The above names are some that cousins of mine have named their children in recent years.
I also agree that Jackson is being seen in alot of places. I love that name...but it is becoming somewhat common.
Let us know what you decide.

Jackson is becoming popular, however to keep it sort of fresh my ex sister in law named her son Jaxon, I gave her the spelling and she used it. I think it is so cool! We are adopting my niece's baby and if it was a boy I wanted to name it Jaxon Dean, but my niece is named Jaclyn and we always call her Jacks or Jackie and she thought it would be to weird to have the baby sort of named after her. Then we found out it is a girl and so we (me, my husband and my niece) chose the name Kylie Renee. I love the name Riley, for a boy and also Jasper, and call him Jaz for short.

I love the name Eli for a boy! Most people use Elijah then have Eli as a nickname but I love Eli for the full name! I also like Addison for a boy. Not very common, yet a good solid name!
here is the names that I have picked out and probally won't ever use:
Zachary
Tyler
Matthew
Paul

Boy names can be harder than girls!
Well when I was pregnant I wanted a unique name too, and named my son Chase. It's not that common, but I hear it more now that he's here.
I like my husbands name: Lou "Louie"
I have always liked Alex, Miles and Austin too.
Hope that helps :)

I like the names Annikan (Star Wars) , Jackson, Elijah, Ethan, Carter, Landon, Ezekial, Paul, Jude, and Braxton.
Carter Braxton is actually a descendant of mine. I don't know if the post that siad her brother in law named his son Carter Braxton knows this or not, but CARTER BRAXTON was one fo the Virginia men who signed the Dec. of Independence.
Good good name.
