Do you know if this child was put up for adoption? If so, as a sibling, you can register with the British Columbia Ministry of Children and Families - you would register in the reunion registry and would only be notified if your sibling was also registered. If your sibling was not adopted you are just looking for Susan Lee - Have you contacted SFU? www.sfu.ca Was she faculty? If so, do you know what department she was with? You may be able to trace her through her department. That would be your best bet since Lee is such a common surname.
Good Luck!

I know of one home in Vancouver - Maywood Home For Girls - which no longer exists - but the records must be somewhere?? If she stayed at Maywood she would have likely given birth at Grace Hospital, which is now known as BC Women's Hospital, or something like that. You may also want to check with 'Birthright" since I know that they often set up girls at the Maywood home. I hope this helps. You should also check with the BC Ministy of Children and Families to see what info they have for you.
I thought you may want to have a look at this website....you never know, this may help. http://www.canoe.ca/JamBooksReviewsR/remembering_petrie.html
