ny foundling hospital

I gave my son up for adoption against my will in 1983.....I am now starting the search for him. Ny Foundling Hospital handled the adoption and I need to ask them for his adoption records. If anyone has any Idea how to go about this please let me know.

I need help as well , I do not no where to begin , I was born in Lincoln hospital in the Bronx , my last name was madera. I don't no what happened? I don't know if I was taken away or given up. My bday is June 16,1983. My adoption agency was the foundling hospital. Someone please help me

Robert - have you confirmed your last name in the NYC birth indexes? Have you joined NYS registry? Contacted the foundling for Non-id? Also join ISRR.... and nyadoptees on yahoo groups for search angel help!
