shirley anne anderson(original name) now grace fisher

My dads name is Brian Trevor Anderson and his dad was Roy Anderson. I knew when I was younger he had a sister that was adopted out and her name was Shirley.I'm interested in finding out where she is and what she looks like as I've been told I looked like her when I was a child. I did hear years ago that she moved to Australia and apparently put a close on the adoption files??My dad tried to find her and she didn't want to know. Just things I over heard being a nosy child of course. I'd like to know who are you to this person, to see if we are related. Lelani was his half sister and I don't know if you have the right name Ian but Terry was his brother. Sadly Roy and his wife Rangi have past on. Please get in contact if you have any more details.

Hi Sorry for taking ages to reply. I am shirley/grace's daughter... I too am adopted and have been looking for her side of the family for about 8 years.....

I am Graces (Shirleys)biological half sister also Brians sister. I have searched for her for nearly 40 years. I have all the information plus photos of Grace as a young girl before she was adopted for the first time ( I think her first adopted name was Edwards). Plus many many memories, also know the cause of her scar and have a photo of her and I the day she was released from hospital. She was born in 10 April1953 ( hopefully my memory is correct) Gisborne NZ her father was Roy L Anderson and her mother was Eva May Anderson ( she died in 1956)Eva was also my mother and Brians, There was another brother Colin, Terry had the same father but Brian is her full brother. Well u well also be happy to know that u have 4 niece and nephews as well. Grace does has a son by the name of Cato. I have not seen or spoken to Grace in over 13 years. i live in Auckland. Its great to finally have gotten success in this search.:cool:

Hi Maggiebee, I'm Brians youngest daughter. Sorry it's taken so long to reply. Quite a few years ago dad met up with someone saying they were his sister, from Australia, was it you? Dad has no idea his past was so interesting to me and I don't know what he'd think about all of this? I've sent another post very similar but put it in the new threads area by mistake , so ignore that one. You'd be pleased to know that you have 2 nieces ( including me), 2.5 nephews, a great niece, a great nephew and another on the way due in May 2005. I think it's exciting that the past I've always been interested in finding and never really did anything about has finally started to reveal itself.
