I am looking for my brother that my mother was made to put up for adoption in the mid to late 1950's either in Waterbury, Danbury or Bridgeport CT. My mothers name was Patricia Lorrainne Dyer. Her birth date was 07/15/1938. The birth father's last name was probably Canzoni. My brother was named Scott at birth. All I know about his birth is he was born in November or December. My mother rarely talked about him, but I know she loved him and missed him until the day she died. My father tried to find information about him, but was unsuccessful. Both my mother and father are gone now and the only people left alive that know about Scott are my mother's siblings, but I do not personally know them, they live on the east coast and I have lived my life in California. My mother rarely contacted them. What I do know is that my mother was in her late to mid teens when she had my brother, she did not want to give him up for adoption, her sister tried to talk my grandmother out of making her give him up. As soon as she could after my brother was put up for adoption my mother left the state of CT and went to NH where she met my father and married him in September of 1959 and lived the rest of her life in California. I am not sure if he is still living or not, but I would like to find him if he is still living, if he knows he was adopted to let him know he has a birth family looking for him.
