Hello, I am looking for information about RAD children and triangulation of adults and false allegating. I would appreciate any information at all. These are the two issues our daughter (9) seems to be most adept at. Thanks.
What kind of information are you looking for? They truiagulate to get the adults at odds thus removing any focus from them. The false allegations are to make them look innocent and the parents look horrible so thatnoone will believe the parents and the kids can do what they want. Without intervention by trained attachment therapist and 24/7 theraputic style parenting, these behaviors will accellerate making the child sicker.

Thank you for your reply. What I would like to find is perhaps an article that addresses these issues. Something in print would be valuable to share with teachers and therapists.
If the therapist doesn't know about triangulation, it's time to get a new one. Triangulation is a very basic concept that is taught in grad school (if not before in some programs). It's scary to me to think that some therapists out there don't understand the concept
It sounds as though there must be much in print "out there." I could use some help in finding such information in print regarding RAD children, triangulation, and false allegating. We live in rural America and our access to attachment therapy has been limited, however we do plan to go this route. but, in the mean time, it would be most helpful to have something in print to use for school personnel for documentation that triangulation iand false allegating are MOs of RAD children.

Hope these sites provide you with the info you're looking for.
If you go to my website you will find a number of articles that should be helpful to you. Center For Family Development I also have a handout on my site for teacher of children with RAD that parents and teachers find very helpful. I've been doing training of school districts, psychologists and other mental health professionals, and social service and adoption works for many years now and have put a lot of what seems to work on my site.
