Michael had the cradle cap too. My mother told me to put baby oil (very lightly) onto a cotton ball and lightly massage the oil into the scalp. Then take a baby comb and run it through his hair. It picked up the flaking skin without irritating his scalp. Since the layer was very light, the hair didn't look too greasy, and done every couple of days, the cradle cap was gone in a week or two. Bet your little Emily-Rose is cute, no matter what! (Love the name too.)
she's losing her hair...lol only on the back and sides. it's still long and curly-q on top. you should see her crib sheet, it is covered in hair when she wakes up in the morn. she looks so cute :) she looks so bald around the edges, my poor baby. oh well at least the cradle cap is gone :D
i would attach a pic but i dont know how.
Oh that sounds all too familiar! I just glanced at Michael's first year of monthly taken portraits, and at some point, the hair on the back of his head, was terribly short and really long on the top. Don't worry... it'll grow back!
To post a photo, if you've already scanned one or transferred them from a digital camera, first make sure you make a copy within the required maximum bytes size. You can find the size on the "post a reply" page along the left hand column where it says "Attach file." When I first got my digital camera, the resolution was so good that every single photo's file size was way too big for any web function. Then a friend showed me how to do it. She and I both happen to have Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0, but I am guessing that most photo editing software packages will have something like this. In the program I have, I select and open the photo file I want to work with, then under File, I click on "Save for Web." On that, there is a way to change the resolution, and pixels size. I usually post photos with anywhere from 70-85% resolution, and around 500 pixels at the longest dimension. I save it to "My Pictures" usually. Then on this site's "post a reply" (or "new thread") there is the "Attach file" space. To the right of that, click on the Browse button, find the file you resized (if you had to) and click on that. Click on the "Open" button within your dialog box from where you found your photo, and it should paste in your computer's "address" for where your photo is located on your system. Just make sure the file size is smaller than 1024 KB (the currently posted maximum size) before you click on the "submit reply" (or "post new thread") button. Otherwise, it will knock out your entire text of your message, and you will have to re-type it. I usually try to limit my file size to less than 1000 KB just to be on the safe side. (I've had other websites knock out my upload if it's less than but too close to the limit.) Hope that makes sense. I know I was really irritated with the process when it was all too new to me, so try not to get too flustered. I would love to see your little sweetie-pie's photo!
