Hi, I see that you weren;t foster parents for LSS until 1970, but would you know of any other Foster parents who did it with LSS in 1965 in the MPls. Mn. area. Me and my sister were unsuall in that we were in a Foster Home for 2 years almost according to LSS records. I was to turn 2 June 26, 1965 and was placed with my adotive family June 7, 1968, through LSS. My sister who was placed with me was to turn 3 on July 9, 1964. My birth name was kept as " MIdge" and my sister as "Connie". I go by Ann Midge now placing my first name as the middle name. Please if you know of any Foster parents who may have has us contact me or have them contact me at 1-715-835-7651 and ask for Ann. I am a Foster Mom now also so would enjoy meeting her. :)

My husband was born April 30, 1965
Might have been born in Fargo or across state lines in Minniapolis. He was adopted through L.S.S. and his A-parents said they "picked him out of several babies there". They took him home on June 11, 1965 to North Dakota.
If this sounds familiar - please respond.
Thanks,
Deb
Hi, do you think it is possible for me to contact this Gerald Gunderson Foster home ????? I was not a baby when adopted but possiible a baby in there home betwee June 26, 1965 - June 7, 1968 Went by Midge. I go by Ann Midge now. email me at apardun@charter.net if you want to.
Also the other possible same foster home if he was born april 1965 ? It would be fine to contact me by email.
Hi, I saw your post and I believe you said that your family fostered L.S.S. babies from 70-79? I was born 2/15/1972 at St. Luke's in Fargo and was in foster care for a month before my adoption. I was only around 5lbs when born and had reddish hair and blue eyes and my papers stated that my foster parents said I liked to be held. Not much to go on, but maybe you remember me? Also my birth parents had named me Tracy Lynn. Thanks so much for providing a caring home for those first precious weeks, as a mom now, I know how important they are!
Thanks again, Carol Wagner
Hi -- I'm sorry but I think you misunderstood my original post. I/We were never foster parents .... I am looking for people that might have been foster parents from April 1965 to June 1965 in the Fargo, ND area. That is where my husband was when he was born.
I hope you find who you are looking for - angel's blessings!

Hi, I was adopted from LSS in Fargo in March 1972. According to my nonidentifying info I received, I was in a foster home from after my birth Feb 15, at St, Luke's. I was a little over 5lbs, had reddish hair and blue eyes and was named Tracy Lynn by birth parents, maybe you remember me? Thanks, Carol Wagner
I am actually in search of my birth mother and/or foster parents for teh time that I was in a foster home. I thought this thread was for those people who were in a foster home from 1972-1979. I am possibly mistaken. If you have anything further for me please feel free to reply. Thank you for you time!

Hi, I was adopted through LSS in Fargo in March, 1972. According to my non-identifying information from LSS, I was born at St. Luke's Feb 15, 1972 and was in a foster home for a month after my birth. If you might remember anything, I would really appreciate it, thanks.
Do you know of any families that were doing L.S.S. work in the mid 60's? I am an adoptee that was placed through them in May of 1966. I know it was in Minnesota. We are not even sure of my true birthdate or what state I was born in. My parents figured that I must have been about two months old when they brought me home. No one can find any record of where or when I was born, and to this day I can't get a birth certificate.

She says she was adorable.
