Hello. I am searching for my birth mother, whom I know is named Kristen Waddic k (it edits if I leave out the space) but am having trouble finding any information...
My brother, Cameron, and I, Justin,
Were adopted in Las Vegas in 1982.
Cameron was born in Minneapolis, MN
And I was born in Las Vegas.
I know we both had the same birth mother,
by the name of Kristen Waddic k
If anyone can help please let me know
Dear Justin,
Jean here, from Nevada Open and Nevada Triad. Greetings!
May I suggest that you come visit this web site:
http://www.draknetfree.com/nvregistry/
for some specific Nevada search ideas and resources. Specifically visit the page on how to search. Okay?
Since you already have a name, you may want to check city directories for the year of, before, and after your birth. And maybe check public marriage records too.
I also recommend the GenForum, looking specifcally for that last name. Genealogists are VERY helpful to many who search.
Have you signed up for the ISRR?

Also consider joining Nevada Open. We are working with the state legialture to open birth and adotpion records to adult adoptees. Crafting new law, so that you have your answers.
Warmest Regards,
Jean

I found her!
Found an address for my birth-grandmother, she called me back and I spoke to her for a while. She gave me a phone number and address for my birth-mother, whom I called yesterday. She called me back this morning. I had already left for work so I didn't get to talk to her but I'll be calling her back this afternoon.
Dear Justin,
Congratulations on such a quick find! Welcome to reunion!! I'm just so pleased for you!
While you slowly begin to develop your relationships, I hope you will also come join Nevada Open. There are so many adoptees, on this Nevada Adoption Forums list alone, who are seeking answers to their own beginnings. Working together, to pass legislation to open birth and adoption records held by the state, is the best hope for many who search. We ALL have a right to know!
I'm so pleased we could be of search help to you. Know that we remain close by, to discuss any issues that may arise during reunion.
Once again... CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
Warmest Regards,
Jean
