We just brought home our first placement last Thursday. A beautiful 36 week preemie girl. She is such a good baby. She had her first doctors visit yesterday and is doing very well. TPR is already being sought because the mother's last case (older sibling) with DFS closed 3 months ago. What can we do to set ourselves apart in committee for selection?

Congrats!! You will have preference AFTER they look into relatives and placement with sibs. Is the sib in an adoptive home now? If not and you are able to take both, keeping sibs together will be a huge deciding factor. Best of luck and keep us posted.
Hope you're sleeping through the night soon. We have only had infant placements, so I've been doing night feedings for nearly 3 years!! Not complaining, though....the coos and snuggles more than make up for it:p
